Performance in Office She praised the prosecutor's work and pointed out that under her leadership, the city of Newark saw a one-fifth decrease in crime. Background and Previous Role Habba, 41, was initially recruited to Trump's personal legal team in 2021. Subsequently, she acted for Trump in his hush-money trial in New York last year, which resulted in his conviction on multiple felony counts of financial record manipulation.
